WHO ARE WE?
- Poly Rabbotics Team 7042 is a FIRST robotics team that established in 2018. Since its rookie year, Team 7042 has grown to over 35 students. The team has competed in the Del Mar Regional, Los Angeles, Aerospace Valley, and Orange County Regionals as well as the 2023 Houston World Championships
- Poly Rabbotics has won the Rookie Inspiration Award (2018), the Judges' Award (2020), the Quality Award (2022), the Industrial Design Award (2022), and were regional winners at the Aerospace Valley Regional (2023)
FIrst Robotics Competition
- FIRST is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring young students to study the STEM fields. In order to reach children of all ages, FIRST organizes four different annual competitions. Each year, teams of high school students, coaches and mentors work during a six-week period to build game-playing robots designed for the competition.
- The FIRST Robotics Competition is the most advanced FIRST program, allowing high school students to learn STEM-related skills that they can apply to internships, college, and future careers.
Poly Rabbotics - Community Outreach
- Team 7042 is not only committed to the education of its members but also in making a difference at other schools.
- Team 7042 helps in introducing STEM to children through robot demonstrations in places like schools and cub scout packs
- We are always looking for sponsors and reaching out to the Long Beach community to help us with this commitment.
