Winning the creativity award at LA Regional, Mantis's rotating shooter and buddy climb-capable arms made it a formidable competitor in the main 2024 season.
Continuing the animal-based naming scheme started by Bandar, wyvern's snake-like arm has extensive maneuverability, carrying our team to compete at the world championship in Houston.
Bander is our robot with 3D printed shooter walls with titanium brackets and an aluminum structure. Bander had a gear shifting Coast Drive with four Falcon 500 motors with three different modes, one static arm and one pivoting arm. He can climb bars and collect balls and toss them. Awards won: Quality award and Industrial design award.
Made by turning our team number 7042 upside down, Zhol led us to a successful season in the 2020 game Infinite Recharge.
Inspired by the Mars Opportunity Rover, Hoppertunity scored all of the cargo bay goals and played defense in the 2019 game Deep Space.
Our rookie year robot played the 2018 game Power Up, where we shot boxes into the smaller two scales and played defense.
